Synopsis:

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Katy Evans comes a brand new contemporary romance. WOMANIZER is a full length standalone, and no other books in the series need to be read.
You've seen the headlines: Womanizing billionaire player! Watch out! Stay away!
We were just two strangers. Facing a forbidden attraction, a chemical connection. Neither of us expected or wanted it to amount to more.
But I had never been drawn to a guy the way I was drawn to this one: my brother's best friend, and CEO of the company where I interned.
Even knowing I should stay away, I proved to be too human, after all.
The chemistry was amazing.
The laughs were incredible.
I opened up to him in more ways than I'd opened up to anyone before.
But sex was as far as I'd go.
Just sex because he was too irresistible.
Just sex because I wouldn't be falling for him.
Just sex because I'd leave in three months, and I'd like for my brother not to kill me, and for nobody to find out he was my wicked little secret.
He wasn't the One.
He was just a womanizer.
But for a time, he would be mine.

I loved Womanizer. From the very first chapter I felt completely swept up in Olivia's life. The cover was what drew me in, but Katy Evans words were what kept me reading the novel. Womanizer follows Olivia's life as she moves to Chicago for an internship at Carma. She meets a man who she dubs as Hot Smoker Guy, who she thinks is the mailman, but really he's the CEO and her brother's best friend. I loved how our two main characters were introduced. Instead of a proper introduction, they found each other and didn't realize who exactly the other person was until it was already too late for them. That was one of the things that really made Womanizer stand out to me.

Another was how the story progressed. Callan was a womanizer, yes, but Olivia never really saw him with other girls, and if she did, he wasn't all that interested in them. Instead, he was all about Olivia, even when they were trying to stay away from each other. I also liked how Olivia never tried to change him; he changed his ways on his own. As a matter of fact, neither of them wanted to fall for the other. Callan thought he couldn't love anyone and Olivia was set on following her life plan, which meant establishing her own business before meeting her future husband. For me, this really added another layer to the story. They were both on the same page the entire novel, even if they didn't always know it.

Womanizer is more than just your average romance novel. Olivia and Callan are more than just a couple. They're partners, both in business and in life. Olivia has a lot to learn in the business world and Callan is the perfect person to teach her, and Callan needs someone to ground him and see the businesses he deals with in a new light and Olivia is that person for him.

I highly recommend Womanizer. It was one of my favorite reads of this year, and it won't disappoint you.
